Process
In oil-air lubrication systems, a precisely measured amount of oil is dispersed by a steady flow of air inside a tube. The oil travels along the tube wall, following the direction of the compressed air. At the mixing point (mixing valve), the oil is introduced into the air stream in pulses, creating an almost continuous flow that exits through the nozzle in fine droplets, which are delivered to the rolling bearing without direct contact. This process ensures that the bearing housing is maintained under slight positive pressure, preventing dirt from entering the sensitive bearing areas. The carrier air, nearly oil-free upon exiting the bearing, ensures no oil mist or fog is produced, making the system environmentally sustainable. Distant system components are serviced by a lubrication system through a satellite unit. If expansion is required, additional stations can be seamlessly integrated into the system.
