FORGED ROLLS

The forged rolls (also known as rolling mill rolls or forged mill rolls) are primarily specified for work rolls, back up rolls, auxiliary rolls and special rolls. Forged rolls, commonly known as regular steel rolls, comprises 0.85 C, 0.30 Mn, 0.30 Si, 1.75 Cr, and 0.10 V. A certain percentage of Mo may be added to the basic composition and the chromium content varies to obtain specific characteristics.Rolling Mill Rolls manufactures forged rolls with grooves or bearing sizes, for fitting to any other structure. These rolls are offered to other manufacturing companies in totally finished condition or half-finished or black forged conditions, as per the requirement of the clients.
